Shannon Feeley

Shannon Feeley has been with the Canaveral Port Authority since 2003. In her role in Cargo Business Development, she actively works with cargo industries to attract new investments to the port, ensure retention of existing business, and to counsel and educate the Central Florida community on all aspects of trade. She also manages Port Canaveral’s Foreign Trade Zone 136, which encompasses all of Brevard County. During her tenure at Port Canaveral, Shannon has negotiated and secured cargo opportunities exceeding $50 million in revenue. She currently serves on the World Trade Center Orlando Board; the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones Grantee Committee; the Central Florida Council of Supply Chain Management; the District Export Council of Central Florida; the Florida Customers Brokers and Freight Forwarders Board; and as seaport liaison to the various chambers and economic development agencies. Prior to handling trade development, she coordinated the Community Education program at Port Canaveral. During her first year overseeing program, Shannon taught more than 4,000 students about Port Canaveral and subsequently was honored with a Community Awareness Award from the Brevard Achievement Center. This program was especially meaningful to Shannon, who started her career at the port as an intern. Shannon has a Master’s Degree in Transportation and Logistics Management from American Public University; a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida; an Associate of Science Degree in Business Management and Administration from Brevard Community College; and a Professional Designation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She is also a Certified Professional Writer and graduate of LEAD Brevard. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband, boating, scuba diving, and playing with her Jack Russell Terrier.
